Eviron Road is the site for the proposed Tweed Regional Botanic Gardens. The overall site is 100ha, with a proposed core area of 20ha. The Gardens will form part of a network of regional botanic gardens across Australia showcasing particular ecological regions. The site has a range of existing and past characteristics and uses including a variety of vegetation communities, functioning quarries, landfill sites and agricultural use.
Dan completed concept design work on the project whilst working as a senior landscape architect for another landscape architecture firm. Concept work updated extensive master plan work completed by Landplan Landscape Architects in 1998.
We are now undertaking further site investigation into existing characteristics and potentials.
