The Norries Head whale watching deck was a project undertaken with the Cabarita community and Tweed Shire Council.

The deck provides the duel function of providing a viewing platform and mitigating significant existing erosion and inevitable future erosion.

The key goal of the design was to provide a viewing platform and seating without damaging the physical and visual experience of the headland. The deck terraces and bends with the topography of the headland in a way that ensures that the structure does not encroach on views.
